RadioSpiral was founded by Mike Metlay and Diana Smethurst as a means to continue what they both love doing – promoting electronica by performing it (Mike) and hosting shows with some of the best of it (Diana). With technical know-how provided by Paul Harriman, chat support from Joe McMahon, and marketing and hosting by Rebekkah Hilgraves, the RadioSpiral Admin team aims to bring you the best of the genre. We should also include Spud, our music-curating robot, who will keep you entertained 24/7 and is happy to respond to you in chat. Be warned, he’s got attitude… We are also delighted to have on board the fabulous host of Ambitar, Allen Goodman, whose show airs on Mondays, and Darrell Burgan, the host of Blue Water Drift Dive, which airs every Friday (see the calendar for details). You can read all about us on our own pages (linked above), but suffice it to say that we feel strongly about the promotion of electronic/ambient music, and endeavour to air great electronica as well as use other media, such as Second Life, to share it with new listeners.
